Cad Technician Jobs

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a {insert title here} to join our growing team.

As a CAD Technician at JELD-WEN, you will be a key member of the Engineering team. You will be responsible for creating submittal drawings from information provided by customers and our customer service team. You will report directly to the Supervisor, Architect Service Group.

This is an onsite role and is based in our Charlotte, NC Facility.

What You Will Do

• Using information supplied by architects and designers; make modifications to existing drawings.
• Ability to work as part of a team, communicate respectfully .
• Create drawing elevations, window schedule information. Accurate section details with reference markers.
• Create accurate, detailed to scale drawings based on product and wall details.
• Develop understanding of all JELD WEN window products.
• Maintain accurate records.

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of working experience with AutoCAD.
• Construction experience.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Be fluent in AutoCAD version 2022, Office Products and Windows 10.
• Ability to read and translate blueprints and technical drawings.
