Cad Drafter Jobs

The CAD Drafter is a drafter who is responsible for the timely and quality execution of assigned drawing and ECO tasks to meet the Company’s short term and long-term goals. This individual will be responsible for participating in and assisting with medical device drawing maintenance in accordance with the Company’s design quality system.

• Interact with remote and internal design and manufacturing resources to complete drawings and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) in a timely manner.
• Use 3D CAD software for print generation and Product Data Management for print documentation (SolidWorks CAD and PDM preferred) for the creation of ASME Y14.5 compliant drawings.
• Coordinate all aspects of the drafting tasks on time while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Willingness to work directly with cadavers and in surgical situations.
• Review drawings to ensure adherence to established drafting standards set by the company.
• Creation of drafting documents for assigned projects as required by applicable medical device standards and internal procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED with two (2) years of drafting experience or Associates in Drafting and Design with one (1) year of drafting experience is required. Mechanical drafting experience is preferred.
• Medical device industry experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate in Mechanical Design (CSWA) certification preferred
