Cad Manager Jobs

RYVAN Recruiting is seeking a CAD Manager for our client in West Palm Beach. The CAD Manager will oversee a team of Designers who design and detail all specific project scopes of work in Aluminum Railings, Specialty Structural, Architectural, Ornamental & Cladding as well as manage staff to meet project schedule. They will also work as a liaison between the Design and Production departments to manage shop drawings on a complete, accurate, and timely basis and in compliance with the quality standards required. They will be responsible for design of durable materials and ease of fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities

• Create or revise technical drawings from sketches and redline markups
• Interact with clients and customers
• Lead a team of internal Designers as well as outside sub-contractors and vendors
• Develop and deliver progress reports along with other specific project related documentation
• Oversee the installation drawings required for any given commercial or residential projects
• Draw scales as they relate to specs and dimensions
• Monitor all construction documents to ensure compliance with company standards
• Read, understand and navigate all contract documents and drawings

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of design and detailing using AutoCAD and other design software
• 5+ years working with AutoCAD in construction related position
• 2+ years in leadership, supervisory or management position
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screens
• Must be US Citizen or valid Green Card holder
• Experience managing multiple projects, technicians and contractors
• Drafting and designing Metals and/or ornamental metals or steel for custom fabrication ? Division 5 experience a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products

DIRECT HIRE - ONSITE - $90-$95K (DOE)
