Job Description
What you will do:


Draft support is in the form of developing and publishing engineering drawings (design and layout) of installation, assembly and detail drawings for mechanical systems, aircraft structures and electrical diagrams. This position reports to the Manager, Certifications and Projects.


What you need:


  • Associate degree in technical drafting or design (or other related technical major) and 1 year experience in technical electrical wiring drawing design and layout -OR- 3 years experience in the design and layout of technical drawings
  • Familiar with AutoCad
  • Familiar with solidworks -OR- equivalent 2D drafting software


Preferred:


  • Previous college course work in engineering
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic aircraft maintenance and operational terms
  • Working knowledge of MIL standards


Physical Requirements:


  • Occasion lifting of various weights
  • Wear PPE as required
  • Able to sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Work using a computer for extended periods of time
