Job Description

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead design efforts for custom screw jack products, including analysis, manufacturing and material specification, and product definition using Solidworks, AutoCad, and ERP system
  • Additional duties determined by management
  • Occasionally direct in aspects of the work
  • Possible travel to manufacturing facility, <10%
  • Coordinate with other engineering personnel to facilitate timely and workable designs
  • Coordinate with applications engineers and customer service representatives to ensure the final product meets the original specifications
  • Design of standard screw jacks also includes analysis, specification and product definition using Solidworks, AutoCad, and ERP system

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
  • Background in power transmission desirable
  • 3-5 years experience with creating 2D and 3D models, and dimensional drawings to ANSI Y14
  • PC, AutoCAD, and Solid Works proficient
  • 3-5 years experience in mechanical design, prior internship/co-op experience preferred
  • Experience with using and managing data in ERP software, Epicor Prefered
