This position will provide design support to the Small Caliber Ammunition Division. This person is responsible for all aspects of part, assembly design and documentation utilizing Creo Solid Modeling.
What will you be doing?
This position will be a key member of the Small Cal team. Duties include:

• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs
• Experience with drafting standards and procedures such as MIL-STD-31000, ANSI Y14.5 and Geometric Tolerancing
• Ability to conduct tolerance studies and related fit checks
• Mechanical design and 3D Modeling of machined and sheet metal parts, and complex assemblies

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?
This Position Will Require The Following Skillsets And Experience

• Brief Travel may be required
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-31000, Geometric Tolerance and ANSI Y14.5
• Generic skills such as writing, presentations, communication, detail oriented, works well in team environment, multi task, handle fast paced environment
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance
• 5+ years direct design experience using Creo and/or Pro/Engineer and WindChill
• Ability to obtain security clearance background investigation
• Preferred - AS in Mechanical Engineering or related field; will consider other education and/or work experience
