Cad Designer Jobs

Work week: Monday through Friday / Hybrid

Salary Range: $66,177 to $73,622

Join our national CAD Team supporting a wide range of civil, environmental, and structural engineering projects. We are interested in a candidate that has the capacity to grow, is a quick learner, is detail-orientated, is a committed team player, and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities

• Comfortable working with bathymetric and topographic data and importing third-party survey data to create existing conditions backgrounds and digital TIN surfaces for 3D modeling.
• Understands and visualizes overall civil/geotechnical engineering concepts, such as grading, and translating abstract concepts to design figures and drawings.
• Working directly with engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects to perform CAD design and develop deliverables for projects.
• Converting CAD drawings from outside consultants or agencies for internal use
• Preparing construction plan drawings and report figures
• Performs measurements and material take-offs from CAD models to assist with construction contract modifications and cost estimates.

What Are We Looking For?

Required

Ideal candidates will have the following:

• Proficient with managing redline edits with Bluebeam and/or Acrobat.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred

• Experience with MicroStation and ArcGIS a plus
• Experience in environmental, engineering, or natural resources consulting
