DIVE's mission is to accelerate the adoption of 3D-printing across industries. While we support this through our design, engineering, and marketing consulting work, we also run our own product brands powered by additive manufacturing. One of these brands, 3DPets, is dedicated to creating new mobility solutions for dogs with disabilities by leveraging the latest advancements in additive manufacturing technologies. 3DPets is in need of a dedicated CAD designer, for the primary purpose of designing custom-fit prosthetics and other solutions to be 3D printed for dogs with disabilities.

Role Description

We are seeking a CAD Designer (Rhino / Grasshopper) for a hybrid role located in Boonton, NJ with the flexibility for some remote work. This is a contract role where you will be responsible for creating patient-specific 3D CAD models for our customers, in addition to designing other non-custom hardware as needed for new mobility solutions and products. You'll work closely with our team to learn our modeling workflow in Rhino/Grasshopper, so prior experience in designing devices of this nature is not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of 3D printing technology and materials
• Experience working with a cross-functional team on product development projects
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical audiences
• Experience working with animals in some capacity is a plus!
• 2+ years of experience in 3D modeling and computer-aided design software, including Rhino and Grasshopper.
• Experience working in architecture or product design industries is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Compensation will be dependent upon experience and availability.
