Cad Designer Ii Jobs

Modine Manufacturing Company in Racine, Wisconsin is hiring for an experienced CAD Designer to join our team and support design work for products in our Liquid Cooled Applications vertical!
What Will You Do?
You will develop specific designs using Creo for liquid based cooling products for specialized automotive vehicles. You will report to an Application Engineering Supervisor. This position is open to hybrid work after an initial training period, with a couple of days in the office in our Racine, WI location and the other days working remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide computer modeling, drawing documentation, and design support to assigned customers and projects.
• Communicate with external customers and internal Modine teams on project status. This could potentially include international customers, however no additional language skills are required.
• Provide support and design work on new and existing applications.
• Communicate with customer engineering and design teams and suppliers.
• Work on changes and revisions to existing applications.
• Design within a 2D and 3D environment using Creo.

QUALIFICATIONS

• An Associate's degree in mechanical design or a related technical field is required.
• CATIA experience would be beneficial.
• Proficiency with Creo/ProE (ProEngineer) is required.
• Familiarity with design work in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical or product design.
• Strong project coordination skills are required, as you will work on multiple projects at a time.

• Required travel for this position is exceedingly rare, measured at <5%.
