Your Opportunity – As a cable assembly technician, you will be given the chance for a meaningful and recognizable impact in our company’s evolution. You will be part of a small collaborative team working with a wide variety of technologies and products. Your responsibilities will include designing, prototyping, integrating, and sustaining innovative products. Our photonic curing systems are enabling new and exciting electronics manufacturing processes worldwide. You will have a large role in crafting that change.
Responsibilities:
- Perform informal, in-process self-checks on manufactured items to assist in formal inspection and/or test
- Assist with other related jobs as directed.
- Multi-conductor cable assembly, wire harness assembly
- Maintain a clean work area
- Electrical component assembly
Qualifications:
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
- Experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems
- General competence with standard Microsoft software
- At least Class 1 soldering skills – certification a plus
- 1 year of experience in hands-on technical equipment assembly
- Ability to use precision hand tools such as wire crimpers, strippers, and cutters
- Experience working with chemicals or in a hazardous environment a plus
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
