SUMMARY

Provide students with the fundamental concepts and tools of business, computer, and information technology. Teach the skills that are necessary for living and working in today's world, including business environments and applying a variety of business principles and techniques which are used in every day life.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification:

Must have a Business, Computer and Information Technology K-12 Certification.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of content and pedagogy skills in planning and preparation, establishing and maintaining a purposeful learning environment. Demonstrated knowledge of subject content, curriculum, and methodology of effective teaching. Skill in delivering instruction, engaging students in learning and assessing and evaluating students. Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents and other district employees. Skilled in the use of multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning. Proven ability to establish and enforce student discipline.

Abilities:

Problem solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment, and analytical abilities.

Pay Rate: $51,752.00-$88,028.00 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)
