SUMMARY

The role of the teacher is to teach students to read, write, problem solve, compute, how to find information, how to think, how to work co-operatively with others, and to meet all district required curriculum objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification:

Must have an English 7-12 certification.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of content and pedagogy skills in planning and preparation, establishing and maintaining a purposeful learning environment. Demonstrated knowledge of subject content, curriculum, and methodology of effective teaching. Skill in delivering instruction, engaging students in learning and assessing and evaluating students. Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents and other district employees. Skilled in the use of multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning. Proven ability to establish and enforce student discipline.

Abilities:

Must be creative and innovative with instructional development of remote programming. Problem solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment, and analytical abilities.

Pay Rate: $53,780-$89,356.00 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)
