Job Title
: Business Process Automation Analyst


Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Business Process Automation Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in the development and launch of our digital Banking as a Service (BaaS) platform, and ongoing development of process automation and custom applications. As a Lead Business Process Automation Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving the operational processes and systems within our banking infrastructure to ensure efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of our BaaS solutions and help us meet our strategic objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to banking operations and process optimization and apply this knowledge to improve our BaaS platform.
  • Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for various banking processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Drive automation initiatives by leveraging technology and process optimization to streamline manual tasks and improve overall productivity.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, capacity analysis, and workload balancing to identify bottlenecks, process inefficiencies, and resource utilization opportunities.
  • Develop and implement industrial engineering strategies and methodologies to optimize processes, workflows, and systems in the BaaS environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data analysts, product managers, and operations teams, to design and improve end-to-end processes for banking operations.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement, conducting data analysis, and developing actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize statistical analysis tools and techniques to measure and monitor process performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Qualifications:


Education:

  • A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.


Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficient in translating business processes and flows into Jira stories, effectively capturing requirements for development teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and operations management, particularly within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Desirable experience with process automation and workflow management tools.
  • Proficient in wireframing to design intuitive user experiences and user interfaces.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business subject matter experts to comprehend their roles and responsibilities, and effectively translate them into comprehensive business process flows.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, value stream analysis, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient in documenting and visualizing user journeys to enhance understanding and facilitate seamless experiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools, with a proven track record of successfully implementing process improvement projects.
  • Experience in managing development backlogs using agile methodologies.

Desired Experiences:

  • Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Experience working with Salesforce is a plus.
