We're looking for our first Business Operations Manager to join our Finance and Ops team. This critical role is the connective tissue that works across Rutter to drive operational excellence, run strategic analyses, incubate new teams and functions, and develop revenue, profitability, and people processes.

As with most BizOps roles, no two days are the same. Some high-priority projects you'll be working on in the near-term could include developing strategic partnerships, launching employee engagement programs, managing our customer revenue forecast, owning our HR function, optimizing infrastructure costs, managing investor relations, implementing a new billing engine, and/or making sure our local NYC office is running smoothly.

Role Responsibilities

Work with the revenue team to develop and operationalize strategies around upselling, health scoring, and revenue forecasting

Manage basic FP&A processes (planning, budget vs. actuals) with P&L owners

Refine and execute a people operations strategy to measure, maintain, and grow engagement

Revamp our employee onboarding programs and own all operational HR processes

Create and implement a plan for the ‘single view' of the operational state of the company (customers, product lines, people)

Lend a hand wherever it's needed - we're a rapidly growing company and priorities evolve quickly!

What You Need to be Successful

Self-starter that thrives in highly ambiguous early-stage startup environments

2-6 years of experience in

TMT investment banking,

B2B startup Finance & Strategy / FP&A,

startup BizOps, PeopleOps, RevenueOps, or Chief of Staff

Bachelors degree preferred

Desire to learn parts of the job function that are not your core competencies

Based locally in NYC

If performed in New York, the total cash compensation range for this role is $115,000-$161,000.
