Overview


FTI is hiring a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst in Dayton, Ohio at WPAFB. In this role, you will provide support to the Air Force Material Command (AFMC) Main Operating Bases and geographically separated units by creating, updating and troubleshooting BI tools and dashboards. AFMC A3/6 (Air, Space and Information Operations (A3) Communications (A6)) has a mission to provide guidance and policy for all Command systems architectures of networks, legacy tools, emerging technologies, and future deployed solutions.

Responsibilities


  • Create and maintain alerts including, but not limited to, running and sending analyses via MS Excel and email.
  • Create and maintain complex analyses including, but not limited to, adding criteria, formulas, formatting, functions, etc. to implement business rules within the analysis to provide the necessary data within various problem sets, utilizing current and historical data available within the BI environment.
  • Development of Business Intelligence (BI) reports, support reports and dashboards.
  • Create and maintain IT budget-related BI reports.
  • Create and maintain complex dashboards including, but not limited to, selection criteria, charts, totals, calculations, combination of analyses, formatting, etc.

Education/Qualifications


  • Must be physically located near, and willing to report to, the customer site in Dayton, OH several days per week.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, such as BI analysis and reporting, financial analysis and reporting, or data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, to include the ability to develop functional business process documentation and interact with senior level staff.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance, as needed.
  • Intermediate-Advanced experience working with Microsoft Excel, to include large data sets, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Strong working knowledge of BI Admin Concepts and BI Security Concepts.


Desired/Preferred Skills


  • Professional experience with Oracle Financial and Federal Accounting.
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field, such as Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Fianancial Analytics.
  • Professional experience working within Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer environment(s).
  • Professional experience using government Financial Management Systems.
  • Understand the data fields implemented within ITIPS-OPPM and relationship between compliance areas.
  • Understand data structure implemented within ITIPS-BI that correlate to the ITIPS-OPPM data.
