Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will have responsibility for assisting sales leadership in driving operational excellence at a fast-growing international network marketing company. This individual will report to the Director of Sales [operations] and work with the leadership team to provide critical business insight and guide decision making processes across the company with statistical trends, evidence of market trends, and facilitation of a shared understanding of sales behaviors and health metrics. This position will also form processes and work instructions specific to the implementation and usage of data/reporting. This role is a high value-add business partner to the organization, enabling revenue growth and increasing sales productivity by facilitating effective methodologies, efficient processes, and value-added information. The role will be required to assess program results and provide recommendations to the Sales leadership on issues or areas that need to be improved or streamlined.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Promotion & Sales Incentive Program Management

  • Deliver regular insights to the business to improve performance.
  • Synthesize global and regional trends/sales behaviors with open-source industry relevant data to advise Sales department action.
  • Provides on-call direct support to director and above Sales staff during internal and external events.
  • Provide reporting to promotion team on impact and success rate of promotions.
  • Proof all products generated by the Sales Analytics team.
  • Coordinate Sales data needs, reporting functionality, and assist in developing company analytics capabilities and procedures with internal partners.
  • Document and standardize processes surrounding data reporting, formation, and requesting of data.
  • Facilitates simplification and replication of recurring data-based sales tasks.
  • Establish, maintain, and refine standards for Sales statistic reporting.
  • Accomplished by using Excel, SQL, or Tableau
  • Provide reporting on sales and operational metrics
  • Performs specialized data analysis related to sales trends and metrics.
  • Correlate data regarding sales policies and programs.
  • Establish an easily accessible historic Sales statistics knowledgebase with quality record standards.
  • Assist in defining, monitoring, and reporting Sales Department leadership Sales Analytics team KPIs

· Completes all company training and follows established policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the office. The employee may occasionally move up to 25 pounds.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a network marketing organization preferred.
  • Bachelor Degree in related field preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work with various personalities and cultures required.
  • Tableau usage, development, and administration knowledge
  • Excel proficiency
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data mining and reporting
  • Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
  • Smartsheet knowledge preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • SQL Knowledge and understanding
  • Attention to detail and complex information required.
