About the role
The Business Development role is responsible for expanding our solutions and services to new markets, capturing new client opportunities and growing partnerships. We’re looking for people who are passionate about technology and business.
Work you will do
- Effectively executes pitching, negotiating, and sales closing process.
- Initiate market strategy by monitoring competitive products and providing feedback from clients.
- Analyze client information to effectively qualify a scope of opportunities.
- Responsible for sales revenue on the assigned territories, industries and/or clients.
- Take ownership of the proposal process for all new client projects.
- Proactively manage client contacts on a regular basis to develop positive, long-term, business relationships.
- Conduct a weekly report and present the business development progress with management.
- Establish credibility and rapport with prospect and existing clients.
- Coordinate with Bluebik’s consulting teams to develop client solutions.
- Conduct demonstrations, client workshops and/or training as needed.
Let us Talk About You
If you are someone with:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development or business consulting specifically in IT consulting or technology solutions companies.
- Ability to develop and propose software solutions to existing or potential clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, technology, or any related field.
- Sales experience at C-level; managing and closing complex B2B sales cycles.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (experience with Airtable is a plus).
- Hands-on and willing to roll up sleeves with flexibility.
- A strong communicator both verbal and written with senior stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate well in a fast-paced global team environment with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to travel to client sites as necessary.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales revenue targets.
- Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of client and market requirements.
- Excellent commercial and financial analysis skills are an advantage.
