Job Description

The position is responsible for assisting in the support of business and/or functional requirements necessary for technology solutions that meet customer needs, expected delivery dates, and exceptional quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Upkeep of application and support process documentations, including maintenance of the SharePoint sites.
  • Interact with Systems Analysts during the software build and/or configuration process and testing process
  • Review vendor provided documentation and user manuals needed for application support documentation
  • Serve in a liaison role between application technology vendors, internal IS groups, and business users / leadership
  • Establishes a consistent communication strategy with the Business and vendors and defines the associated deliverables
  • Deliver functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification requests
  • Communicates effectively to internal management
  • Interact with business users to understand new business requirements and enhancement requests
  • Work under the direction of the Manager to provide application solutions and/or support for assigned business areas

  • Technical proficiency and ability to explain technical details
  • Escalates to leadership any disconnects between client expectations and IT interests
  • Knowledge of healthcare business functions as it relates to Revenue Cycle
  • Service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to switch gears and prioritize accordingly at any point when critical issues arise
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships to become a trusted partner to our business users, vendors, and internal teams
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability and desire to take initiative and ownership for the assigned task and timely inform the progress of the project / task to all stakeholders.
  • Ability to function effectively in a high touch, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including having the ability to navigate through stressful or ambiguous situations

Academic Achievements

BA or BS degree and advanced degree or coursework preferred and/or other relevant combination of training and experience and industry experience


Experience

  • Working with multiple teams/stakeholders at different functions/levels.
  • Working in a team-oriented environment.
  • 1 - 3 years practical experience in developing business process and data flow documentations (Visio preferred)
  • 2 years Healthcare industry experience preferred, Revenue Cycle experience a plus
  • Vendor relationship and/or management experience a plus
  • 1 - 3 practical experience with SharePoint

$80,000—$102,000 USD
