Explanation of HYBRID: You must be able to come into our office in Foxboro, MA at least twice a month. We will only be looking at local candidates who are willing to come into our corporate headquarters in Foxboro.

Summary: Our Business Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create systems solutions that support ConnectPay’s overall business strategies and yearly 30% growth. The BA gathers and documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation. This role functions as a liaison between IT and users to support our small business clients.
Job description
- Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
- Work with QA to define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process
- Screen mockup, review and design based on organizations UI standards.
- Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
- Create User Guides, Release Documentation and Knowledge Base material as needed.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
- Study and documentation of existing applications.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
- Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, security and system performance
- Review and refine user improvement suggestions.
- Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
- Work with Stakeholders to document and plan releases.
- Work with stakeholder to plan and implement releases of new applications and application updates.
- Review Help Desk submissions and assist in the refinement of issues, cause and solution.
- Define project requirements by identifying milestones, phases, Epics, Features, and User Stories.
- Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
- Defines application problem by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes.
- Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
- Conduct Research, client and staff interviews and develop Proposals to address business and product opportunities.
Requirements:
- Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Possess an understanding of current UX/UI design principles.
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills a must.
- Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
- Agile SDL, Microsoft DevOps and Aha! experience a plus.
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
