Business Analyst Jobs

DecksDirect is an e-commerce retail company looking for a Business Analyst . This position will provide planning, analysis, and forecasts to inform business leaders to make the best strategic business decisions.
A successful Business Analyst will use their expert communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to create and present financial projections to the leadership team. They will bring a plethora of industry knowledge, business process management skills as well as technical proficiency.

Responsibilities
Analyze current and past financial and functional data and performance.
Prepare reports and projections. Build scalable, analytical structures from multiple sources in a growing, acquisitive Private Equity environment. Identify trends in financial and business performance and provide recommendations for improvement and growth. Work side-by-side with business leaders to interpret financial information and use it to inform strategic business decisions. Analyze potential investment and acquisition opportunities based on previous results and future projections. Support teams with weekly and monthly analysis reports. Ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance with at least 7 years of relevant experience. Knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance practices. Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills. Understanding of ERP systems, big data, and related technologies to leverage for reporting and analysis, preferably Oracle’s NetSuite. Track record of being a strategic thinker with the ability to influence and persuade business leaders, colleagues, and executives. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in Direct-to-Consumer e-commerce is preferred, but not required.
