Business Analyst - Entry-Level Consulting

We will train you to implement applications that streamline and automate business processes, resulting in a real-life impact on people’s day-to-day jobs across multiple industries like Healthcare, City and County governments, K-12 Education, and regional Utilities.

As an RPI BA you will learn time proven skills and best practices for

• Gathering business requirements - understanding your clients needs and documenting the details
• Planning and executing end-to-end integrated system testing - Testing the function of the new application
• Performing gap analysis - compare actual performance of the new application with desired performance and close the gaps
• Training system users - Teaching the nuances of the new system to the clients
• Facilitating process design - assist with the design of the new application
• Evaluating reporting needs - helping to build automated reporting within the system
• Rationalizing and transforming data - cleaning up, organizing and verifying data
• Developing functional documentation and specifications

The ideal candidate:

• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Is a natural multitasker - Is organized and able to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Is naturally curious and has good learning habits
• Is a natural people person, a good listener and enjoys working collaboratively to diagnose and solve problems
• Has experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Word)
• Is a team player! RPI’s “team-based approach” leverages multiple resources by specific areas of expertise towards accomplishing team goals. You will never be asked to run a project without support.

Location: Position is on-site in our Baltimore office at 1 N Haven St Suite 201, Baltimore, MD 21224 Flexibility will come as you grow and learn.

Salary: Pay is entry level with the opportunity to increase earnings at 6 months and to continue to grow as you acquire more skills and experiences.
