Job Description

This role is responsible for proactively working with departmental team leaders and/or managers to develop and implement actions to meet plant goals and deliverables. This is accomplished by coordinating processes, equipment, and people to maintain continuous flow of product and services with zero quality issues that comply with internal and external customer specifications.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure tankers are properly placarded
  • Manage tote farm, wash totes, maintain inventory of clean and usable totes
  • Cross train and back fill functions: truck services, performing bulk shipping and receiving
  • Maintain 5s standards
  • Perform wash water and salvage/recoup activities per SOPs as directed
  • Assemble load packages for driver, record seals as placed on tanker
  • Maintain good communication with all internal and external customers
  • Follow regulations (DOT< Hazmat, FDA, etc.) pertaining to storage and shipment of chemical products
  • Manage waste-water treatment, tote offs, and labeling
  • Safely spot tankers in bay area for product transfer
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize work in a timely manner to support manufacturing, EC3, QC, and customer service for inbound and outbound material.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Complete paperwork and documentation accurately
  • Inventory, weigh, label product according to SOP. Partner with EC3 for removal of totes no longer meeting safety and serviceable standards
  • Connect hoses to proper pipelines to transfer material to the correct tank


Position Details:

  • Compensation package offered: $25.10 / hour
  • Plant location: 2305 Sherwin St Garland, TX
  • 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 5:30PM - 1:3APM or 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday 9:30PM - 5:30AM
  • Work week and shift

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated team orientation; proactively communicates and willing to be flexible to meet business needs
  • Ability to read and follow detailed mixing instructions
  • Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing or related environment
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity
  • Ability to read and match numbers on labels, raw materials and finished goods
  • Meet physical requirements including respirator fitness
  • Strong attention to detail

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
  • Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Tanker Trailers
  • CDL
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • SAP experience
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a team player
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
