Job Description
This is a 100% remote position that is a hybrid inside sales/outside sales role (80/20). This is a salary + commission role with uncapped commission and the potential to make $90-100K+ the first year.


In this role, you would serve as an integral piece of my clients brokerage division. The ideal candidate has previous brokerage sales experience, in 3rd party logistics, with a strong Dry Truckload, Flatbed/Specialized, LTL, and Intermodal background.


The candidate should expect an 80-20 ratio of Inside to Outside Sales, preferably, will have an established network of customers/contacts and possess a working knowledge of selling freight brokerage services and capabilities.


My client is a family owned company and they are lean and aggressive and looking to expand their brand.

Requirements:


  • Problem solve and provide solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Create sales leads by networking, cold-calling and building/maturing relationships with existing / new clientele to identify business opportunities
  • Computer literate with an understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Develop a sales strategy in concert with management direction
  • Experience selling to C- Level executives
  • Display the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Produce reports and work product as required
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics or related experience preferred
  • 3 years proven Sales experience, preferably with a 3PL Brokerage, with a strong Dry Truckload, Flatbed/Specialized, LTL, and Intermodal background.
  • Minimal Travel Required
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and time management
  • Extensive phone and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Maintain composure and professionalism during difficult and stressful situations
