Dimensional’s Corporate Services team is dedicated to providing our clients, guests and employees with the best hospitality, no matter which of our global offices they step in. The Broadcast Operations team within Corporate Services produces the firm's live video events. These include in-person conferences, employee meetings and complex live webcasts seen by thousands of employees and clients every month.
Reporting to the Global Broadcast Operations Manager in Austin, the technician will leverage their strong broadcast technical skills to produce dynamic, live content in a fast-paced television environment. Our broadcast facilities are state of the art and use the best technology from the best brands including Ross, Evertz, EVS, ETC and Dante. The technician will work with a team of other technicians, producers and on-air talent in supporting audio, video switching, lighting, camera operation, graphics and other broadcast systems. This is not an A/V job – we’re looking for someone with true live-television experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Work independently or with a team on system maintenance, new projects and new equipment installations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues on the fly in a high pressure, live television environment.
  • Act as technical director, audio operator (both venue and live), graphics operator, camera operator and support other broadcast related systems as required.
  • Provide our on-air talent, leadership team and guests with a warm, inviting experience every time.
  • Some lightweight editing and/or motion graphics design is possible.
  • Opportunities to travel to broadcast facilities at our other offices are available, but not required.
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • 2+ years of live television-related experience.
  • Experience working effectively under deadline and under pressure.
  • Familiarity with 4K camera systems, microphones, audio mixers, video switchers, lighting and other equipment normally found in a live broadcast studio.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Broadcast or journalism-related degree is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Dimensional reasonably expects to pay a salary estimated to be in the range of $55,000 - $85,000 for this position, which is subject to credentials, industry experience, education, and/or training/certifications.
