Brand Ambassador (Part-Time Independent Contractor)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
CSM is excited to partner with a major health care company who is committed to advancing health equity for customers, colleagues, clients and communities by improving trust, health care access and quality of health for every population. Their Community Connectedness Program partners with local organizations in markets across the US to promote health equity and healthy living through community outreach, health screenings and flu/covid vaccination clinics. In each market, Brand Ambassadors (BAs) are needed to help fulfill this important work. BAs will be the face of the client on the ground in each market and work with Community Health Workers (CHWs) and the onsite team to ensure a successful event.
Working Schedule:
Approximately 9 dates total; Dates per market vary – beginning as early as August 30
Four (4) Promo/Lead in dates: bi-weekly, approximately four (4) hours per day
Five (5) Vaccination Clinic dates: weekly for 5 consecutive weeks, approximately 6-8 hours per day
Primary Responsibilities:
Positively represent client in person at Community Connectedness Events
Create a positive experience and relationship with participants, members and community
Support Site Manager and work alongside CHWs to communicate speaking points and engage attendees
Partner with local team (providers, staff, partner organizations, onsite manager)
Help on-site to set-up/tear-down promo days/vaccination clinics: this may include putting up tables/chairs, organizing materials and promotional items, etc.
Take photos and/or video
Track attendees, giveaways, feedback and other required data and assist with recap report
Assist with inventory
Performs other duties as assigned
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and help move chairs/onsite materials as needed
• High School Diploma and prior experience as a brand representative
• Comfortable sparking conversations and being proactively helpful
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude – great team player and communicator
• Subject to protocols such as proof of COVID vaccination, drug testing and background checks
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• Ability to commit to schedule
