Job Responsibilities
Streamline Payment Processing:
Post payments accurately and promptly to patient accounts, maintaining impeccable records.
Collaborate with Workers Compensation carriers to gather essential information, ensuring seamless billing procedures.
Excel Proficiency
Utilize your proficiency in Excel to enhance data management, analysis, and reporting tasks.
Maintain Operational Efficiency
Handle returned mail efficiently, ensuring updated patient information for smooth communication.
Process patient refunds accurately and in a timely manner, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.
Perform daily balancing tasks to ensure accurate financial records and assist in maintaining financial stability.
Insurance And Account Management
Demonstrate a strong ability to comprehend Explanation of Benefits and accurately apply payments to patient accounts.
Collaborate with insurance accounts receivable to resolve any billing discrepancies effectively.
Efficiently handle charge transfers, ensuring accurate record-keeping and smooth workflow.
Exceptional Customer Service
Provide outstanding telephone support, responding to inquiries related to patient accounts and billing matters, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Experience Requirements
Prior experience in revenue cycle management within a healthcare environment.
Billing experience in a hospital, medical practice, or outpatient setting.
Proficiency in using Medical Billing software applications.
Sound knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
Basic Qualifications
Strong organizational skills, enabling efficient multitasking and prioritization.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex billing challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on customer service.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
