Position: IT Technical Support Specialist
Location: Remote (occasional on-site travel required for special events)

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide technical support for system upgrades, technical refreshes, or new builds, as per project management or team lead's requirements.
Swiftly respond to critical incidents, troubleshoot Windows systems, and offer problem management expertise.
Offer recommendations and support for disaster recovery strategies across primary and secondary site configurations.
Assist with operations and maintenance tasks, including backups, application maintenance, OS patching, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support for end-users, addressing desktop issues and server administration tasks.
Configure user access, manage end-user applications, and contribute to other duties as required.
Be available for on-call support for mission-critical systems.
Develop detailed documentation to describe OS and COTS product deployment, configuration, upgrading, and maintenance.
Create standard guidelines for configuration management to ensure secure and consistent modifications to equipment configurations.
Maintain technical documentation and diagrams related to field communications systems and networks.
Qualifications
Active Secret Security Clearance is required for this position.
A Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience, or 3+ years of relevant prior experience.
1-2 years of experience in designing, developing, integrating, implementing, operating, and analyzing cybersecurity technologies.
1-2 years of experience administering network and security appliances, Windows, or Linux devices.
Experience in transitioning older systems to the Cloud.
Familiarity with AWS Cloud, Microservices, Containers (Ansible), Linux, CICS, zOS/Storage, and DB2.
