Billing Analyst Jobs

Our client, a real estate technology company, is in need of a Billing Analyst for a six-month contract position, with the possibility of extension or full-time conversion. Working onsite in the Miami, FL office three days/week, the Billing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and processing invoices, expense reports, and all other financial transactions within the Corporate IT group. The position will be required to provide administrative and accounting analysis support to controllers, accountants, treasury, accounts payable, and to leadership.

Day-to-day will be 85% vendor coding, 15% associate reimbursements, with occasional vendor contact.

Responsibilities include:

• Communicate vendor setup in the GL system to receive payments on time.
• Execute invoice disputes with vendors providing all necessary backup and confirming credits are received once completed.
• Work within MetaViewer\or other software to route and provide accounting details and backup for Senior leadership approval of invoices.
• Works with application\product owners and the accounts payable team to ensure payments are made timely to avoid service cut-off, late fees, and ensure early payment discounts deadlines are enforced.
• Review invoices for accuracy including payment terms, PO matching, and assign or confirm GL expense coding.

Required skills:

• Strong Excel Skills
• 5+ Years of billing review and reconciling experience
• 3+ Years Vendor management and dispute experience
• 3+ years P&L\expense accounting, including prepaid expense, and cost center allocation processes
• Basic knowledge or experience with IT expense is a plus
• Expert knowledge in functional processes and procedures required
