Myticas Consulting is in search for a Technical Project Manager for an MSP client of ours. In addition to the traditional PM skills, this role requires a deep technical understanding of O365/Azure-based projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct postmortem meetings on challenging projects. Document what worked well, what did not work well, and alternative approaches and mitigation strategies going forward.
• Learn and adopt new service lines as needed into the project management framework.
• Distribute work equitably across the PM and Engineering team to provide each team member equal quota relief and equal chance to achieve performance bonuses.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with internal and external clients.
• On-time and profitable delivery (timely from the perspective of client) of all projects.
• Maintain clear communication with the sales team regarding the availability/backlog of resources, project status, project issues, and the need for JCO’s.
• Maintain industry standard project management processes on projects over 100 hours or projects that will last over one month.
• Responsible for intelligent, organized, disciplined, thorough and time-effective execution of projects, given the availability of resources.
• Responsibility for project communication internally and externally via regular project status meetings and internal communications as needed to assure optimal alignment of resources and expectations pertaining to project deliverables.
• In regularly held engineering meetings, discuss unique troubleshooting or deployment issues.
• Knowledge of individual engineer skill level, experience, and workload interest/capacity.
• Prepare for and participate in weekly Operations meetings.
• Resolve project progress and quality issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with Service Delivery Manager and NOC Analyst to maintain fluid workflow across Project and Service Delivery Teams.
• Responsible for efficient and most profitable use of resources through solid policy and process execution.
• Balance engineering resources for optimum utilization.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Project Management experience in an IT consulting environment
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree or 4-year related work experience
• Microsoft Exchange Online & On-Prem
• Azure networking including ExpressRoute, VNet, Virtual WAN, VPN, NSG, Load Balancer, BGP, routing, and firewall concepts
• Azure AD, storage, and compute including Application Proxy (NDES), Storage Account, Virtual Machines, Virtual Desktop, Backup, Automation, and Functions
• Microsoft Information Protection
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune & Autopilot)
• Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance
• Good relationship-building skills with internal and external teams as well as customers.
• Ability to identify project risks and be accountable for the successful delivery of projects
• Azure identity management including SSO (SAML), OAuth, MFA, RBAC, PIM, conditional access, monitoring / alerting, device registration, identity protection, and hypid identity management / AD connect
• PMP certifications is a plus, or working toward PMP
• At least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Mimecast, EOP, and Defender for 365 Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
