Job Description
The Benefits Systems Administrator will work within the Total Rewards team to maintain the benefits module in Workday (HRIS).
The Benefits Systems Administrator will work within the Total Rewards team to maintain the benefits module in Workday (HRIS).
Responsibilities
  • Maintain data integrity of HRIS through audits and regular review of benefit processes
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide recommended solutions
  • Resolving claims issues
  • Processing new enrollment, life events, and terminations (COBRA)
  • Maintain SOP and processes for all areas of responsibility; create training guides as necessary
  • Manage Open Enrollment configuration, testing, and implementation process
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements based on best practice and efficiencies
  • Manage inbound and outbound benefit vendor integrations (eligibility files) between Workday and vendors including timely file review, reconciliation of issues, and coordination of resolution with vendors
  • Maintaining benefits configuration in Workday
    • Update current configuration as necessary
    • Troubleshoot issues and provide recommended solutions
    • Evaluate and recommend enhancements based on best practice and efficiencies
    • Manage Open Enrollment configuration, testing, and implementation process
  • Responding to general employee inquiries.
  • Participate in monthly Benefits Overview presentations for new hires
  • Update current configuration as necessary
  • Serve as Health & Welfare Benefits contact for several Clark entities with emphasis on:
    • Processing new enrollment, life events, and terminations (COBRA)
    • Responding to general employee inquiries.
    • Resolving claims issues
Basic Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Understands and respects the sensitive nature of information and manages this responsibility to ensure issues are handled discreetly, effectively, and efficiently
  • High proficiency with Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, sorting, filtering)
  • Ability to maintain and secure confidential information
  • Ability to process large amounts of data and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • General human resource knowledge
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with an emphasis on issue resolution
  • Takes initiative and ownership of projects
  • Bachelor’s degree or related discipline preferred but not required
  • Exceptional attention to detail and insistence on accuracy
  • Self-starter, results oriented team player
  • 2 - 5 years of Benefits experience with HRIS emphasis. Workday experience preferred
