Redline VR- Large Event and Offsite Coordinator


Summary: Maintain and optimize customer experience from initial website education and reservation to final Google review. Train staff, uphold standards, and promote/test new products. Prevent customer booking issues, communicating to the staff scheduler, repairing tech and completing any additional tasks assigned by a supervisor.


Pay rate:

Bartending: Starting wage is $18/hr base tipped wage average 25-30 hours

5-10 hours per week flexible untipped coordinating offsite and large events

30 hours per week minimum expected


Bartender:

  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • High volume bartending during preshow and intermission on weekends
  • Bartend with measured pours at the instruction of the bar manager
  • Work closing weekend (1am)and weekday (11pm) shifts 4-5 days a week
  • Aid customers in Virtual Reality headset issues (trained onsite)

Offsite Coordination:

  • Keeping the website up to date with themes, prices, and other customer information
  • Coordinating travel and other details of each offsite event.
  • Communicating with the staffing manager to ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Responding to email inquiries within 24 hours with tailored templates
  • Creating themed offsite content with quarterly promotions


Large Event Coordination

  • Training new staff and refreshing more experienced staff as to the flow of the evening
  • Ensuring that VR headset reservations are properly blocked off
  • Acting as Event Coordinator for large events.
  • Communicating dress code or other procedural changes due to the event
  • Responding to email inquiries within 24 hours with tailored templates


VR Expert

  • Seeking out and Testing new games and experiences, staying current with marketing seasons and offering new products quarterly.
  • Communicating when outside help or new purchases are needed to fix issues
  • Becoming an expert at troubleshooting hardware and software issues and applying updates
  • Being aware of VR trends and helping the bar position itself in the marketplace
