As a Banquets House Person at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $18.00 per hour.

A day in the life of our Banquet Houseperson … it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Banquet Houseperson accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

• Our Banquet Houseperson are responsible for completing a variety of banquet functions, such as setting up tables, chairs,equipment, assisting servers, and answering to inquiries from banquet patrons. The Banquet Houseman may also be required to assist other departments on an as-needed basis during their day. This will include setting up rooms and function areas with designated tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, flipcharts, easels, blackboards, and other equipment as specified by group requirements and in accordance with departmental standard all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.

• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving maintaining the banquet room clean and organized and setting up the banquet room as per guest request all to ensure their satisfaction. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Banquet Houseperson .

• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Banquet Houseperson are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.

• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Banquet Houseperson must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.
