What you'll do:
As a Banking Operations Analyst you will be responsible at the enterprise level for supporting our business lines focusing on Loan, Branch, and Deposit Operations. This role includes business analyst duties related to commercial banking, and supporting operational teams through data analysis, system administration, and assist in developing effective solutions for process improvement. You will also provide support to data-driven projects and drive the automation of reports.

You will work closely with the cross-operational teams to develop a deep understanding of the process and how it translates into data as information and create analytical solutions that are interactive and easy to understand.

Your key responsibilities include collaborating with appropriate parties to assist in developing effective process solutions, business requirements, data analysis, data/reporting solutions, and core system administrative duties. In this role, you must have the ability to think critically, be independently resourceful, practice extreme ownership, and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
What we are looking for:
  • Responsible for collaborating with teams/managers to develop data driven solutions for report automation, while documenting process improvement needs.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to facilitate project planning, develop business/reporting requirements, and conduct application testing to ensure a successful application deployment. Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
  • Provide progress reports and recommendations to Management and assist in special operations-related projects, as assigned.
  • Assist in facilitating periodic training meetings for system users and SMEs.
Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent direct experience in application development
  • Effective public speaking and written communication skills
  • Flexible, team player, resourceful, detail oriented, “get-it-done” personality
  • Advanced computer system operation (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Experience in data analytics/BI/data science/Tableau/SQL
  • Working knowledge of banking, loan and deposit operations
  • Intermediate to advanced math and analysis skills
