Job Description

Job Opening: Web Developer Officer - The Product League


Responsibilities:

  • Implement a moderation panel to manage user-generated content, including comments and messages.
  • Communicate effectively with club members and stakeholders to understand their needs and address any concerns or issues.
  • Integrate Airtable APIs to enhance data storage and management on the website.
  • Create and manage a blog section, including designing the layout and ensuring its functionality.
  • Integrate a secure payment gateway (e.g., Stripe) to enable online payments.
  • Maintain and update the club's website to ensure it is fully functional, responsive, and user-friendly across all devices.


Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to make necessary changes and updates to the website.
  • Familiarities with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Squarespace to create and manage the blog section.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure the website's security and functionality.
  • Knowledge of APIs and experience in integrating them into websites, specifically with Airtable APIs.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with club members and stakeholders, understand their requirements, and provide updates on website progress.
  • Currently undergoing Bachelor's degree or masters from The University Of Texas, Dallas.
  • Experience in integrating and configuring payment gateways, preferably with Stripe or similar platforms.
