The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for an AV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance and support of Microsoft Teams Rooms across the organization. Position is onsite.

• Familiarity with various types of audio visual equipment and software
• Ticket management for incoming or ongoing incidents
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms systems
• Assist in Asset Management by helping to track materials across AV Systems. Technician will follow all standard procedures for asset tracking, tagging, storage, and e-waste where appropriate
• Participation in the installation of AV Systems - including audio and video conferencing equipment, digital signage, control systems and all presentation systems
• Ability to support Biamp DSP
• Strong customer service and experience with executive level support
• Required Skills VIDEO CONFERENCING IT SUPPORT, CONTROL SYSTEMS, DSP ASSET MANAGEMENT, AUDIO VISUAL, ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to support Crestron control systems
• Follow all policies, standards or safety guidelines
• Ability to work closely with IT Services team responsible for providing first and second level IT support
• Escalate in accordance with standard procedures
• Perform all necessary pre-event checks as required
• High school diploma or equivalent. [Advanced degrees or certificates in AV technology or related field are a plus]
• Assist with any root cause analysis
• Ability to train to users on how to use MS Teams Rooms Systems
• 2-5 years of experience in AV setup and operation
• Liaise with cross-functional teams and internal users before and during events
