We are offering a Full-Time position to someone who is a self-motivated quick learner and who enjoys having the freedom to complete tasks as they see fit. (We do not hand-hold or micromanage here!) We are continually learning new things, working with different products and manufacturers to meet the exact needs of our clients, and our clients bring us many fun projects - we are not doing the same boring thing everyday. While some travel is required, most of our jobs are local to western PA. Our team works hard, but still enjoys a good work/life balance, as we do offer paid time off for our full-time employees. We also have opportunities for advancement as we grow! This position will include some Project Management responsibilities, with the opportunity to advance to a full-time Project Manager position.

Overview

As our main point of contact onsite, our Site Lead is responsible for coordinating all of the onsite install work, which includes leading teams of 3-12 (internal employees & subcontractors) over the duration of projects. They are responsible for ensuring that the project gets across the finish line on-time, 100% complete with no loose ends, and ensuring our clients are thrilled with the final product, and with how the job was completed. This dependable and conscientious person will keep the team engaged, on-task, on-budget, and most importantly, safe; all while striving to exceed client expectations. Our site lead is the “hands and feet” of Fresh Tech to our clients!

Essential Functions

• Load and unload vehicles for installs and deliveries
• Keep project management software up to date (task creation & completion, time tracking, etc.)
• Perform troubleshooting (inspect,test, etc.) and make adjustments on the fly
• Access and use vendor tech support
• Pulling, dressing, and terminating AVL (Audio, Video, Lighting) and Networking cables
• Adhere to OSHA standards for all phases of the job
• Some project management functions such as developing schedules and timelines, assisting with tracking project costs, coordinating with other trades and subcontractors when applicable (for small to medium-sized projects)
• Maintain safe, neat, and tidy work areas throughout the project
• Maintain/clean/organize install tools before and after jobs
• Driving company vehicles and rental trucks to and from job sites
• Other duties as assigned
• Review project documentation and execute the plans laid out in AV design documents (including the ability to understand signal flows and be able to read a schematic)
• Operate, install, configure, and commission equipment such as displays, loudspeakers, control panels, microphones, lighting, rigging, cables, etc. (put a show file together, assemble racks, create a couple of lighting looks, set up cameras, align projectors, etc.)
• Report to Project Manager the status of tasks and overall onsite work (when applicable)
• Participate in prep work needed such as unboxing, burn in/testing, performing firmware updates, and labeling all equipment
• Supervise on site team members; coordinate subcontractor labor
• Knowledge of how to integrate AV Systems onto a network
• Assist with keeping the manufacturing and burn-in rooms clean and tidy. This may include cleaning up tools or materials that were used by other people.
• Complete support calls, including: remote support, on site support, troubleshooting etc. This includes supporting our past projects and existing AV systems our clients need assistance with.
