Automotive Service Advisor/Service Writer (Chillicothe, OH):
The role of an Automotive Service Advisor is to greet customers promptly when they enter the service area, obtain their information and report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer. This position also requires the employee to recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history of the vehicle and complete an accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
Applicants should be good with time management skills and have a proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals. This position will require outstanding communication skills, as this job demands that customers be updated frequently with the progress of their vehicle. This employee will also verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order and explain all completed work and charges to customers. Constant contact with customers will require applicants to have a professional work ethic, a great attitude and high-energy personality, and superior customer service skills.

Requirements:

• Ability to maintain high levels of professionalism, teamwork, organization, and customer service
• Must have a professional appearance
• Toyota, Nissan, Honda or Ford/ Lincoln experience is a plus!
• Valid Driver's license and an insurable driving record
• Ability to work in a structured environment and adhere to attendance policy and schedule requirements which include evenings and weekends
• Dealer Track System experience is preferred, but is not required
• Minimum 1 year experience in an automotive role is required
• Positive, outgoing attitude
• Customer Service focused mentality
• High volume mentality, ability to work well in a fast-paced and diverse environment
• Excellent verbal communication skills; must speak clearly and professionally
