About the team

As a member of the Enterprise Payments Production Support Testing team, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing software testing on all products in OPF (Open Payments Framework) Line of Business. Especially the Wires Product.

What you will be doing

As a Software Test Analyst, you will create and maintain processes of the quality program and provide consulting for software development or operations processes, from production support role perspective you will be involved in issues recreation in the lower environments and working with the development team in analyzing/ fixing the issue. Other roles include quality practices, quality audits and software measurements. You will be part of dynamic team working with our payments product OPF on Wires engagements for our clients.

  • Be responsible for testing follow up and release with recommended configuration
  • Develops, maintains, and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data set and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
  • Providing functional advice and assistance to other Integration and production teams
  • Report, track and ensure timely remediation of defects.
  • Support test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies
  • Promoting a culture of excellence, quality and professionalism using testing best practices such as automation and documentation of test scenarios

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals, communicate effectively verbally and in writing and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, vendors and public
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded and deliver results under pressure
  • Knowledge of primary database engines with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries to be used for data validation and troubleshooting, object-oriented development tools, techniques and principles with expertise in at least one object-oriented language, Knowledge of functions, features and components of existing and planned operating systems and applications
  • Requires 5 or more years demonstrated experience in software testing.
  • Skill in understanding and focusing on the client needs, in analysis, solid decision-making and problem solving.
  • Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets needs of client/business partner.
