Job Description

Are you a highly organized, detail-obsessed, natural multi-tasker who wants to make an immediate impact on Qualitative Consumer Research projects, working closely with a team of experienced and supportive moderators / facilitators?

Would you like to work on projects for some of the world's iconic CPG brands - doing your small part to help them create the products everyday consumers will buy and use in the near future - from hard seltzers to plant-based meat to the next, best thing in oral care?

Have you considered a career in Marketing Research / Consumer Insights Project Management? If so, we may have the right role for you!

About MMR...

MMR Research Worldwide is an innovative and consistently growing consumer marketing and product development research agency specializing in the food, beverage, personal care, and household care (i.e. CPG) sectors.

We advise many of the world's iconic everyday consumer brands, as well as smaller, more emerging innovators, from our offices in the USA, UK, China, South Africa, Brazil, Singapore, India, Thailand, Netherlands, and Colombia

Our culture is vibrant, fast-paced, yet friendly and super supportive. Our work practices embody both scientific rigor and creative agility, leading to innovation in research methods and techniques to facilitate our clients' strategic decision-making, enabling them to make a real difference in people's lives with the brands and products we all see on Amazon and our local supermarkets, buy, and eat / drink / use every day!

Our proprietary research methodologies, strategic consulting, and technical guidance help our client companies design, develop, and promote highly successful products loved by consumers around the globe - from soup to nuts (literally!) and beyond.

The role

As part of the ‘grease' on the team, you will ensure that our projects run smoothly, handling administration and logistics globally, and enabling our researchers and strategists to deliver successful outcomes. But that's not all - we want you to add your own ideas and creative problem solving to HOW we do things - making our online communities, consumer focus groups / workshop, as well as client experiences an absolute joy to be part of!

We would prefer a candidate who can work in a hybrid fashion - ideally working 2 days per week from our Manhattan office - and the rest working remotely, but we would also consider candidates anywhere in the contiguous United States, who would work remotely full-time.

The Associate Qualitative Project Manager will be responsible for ultimately managing all operational aspects of project delivery for projects designed and led by the Qualitative Research function at MMR, which includes a few different teams specializing in various disciplines (from General Qualitative to Sensory to Brand and Innovation Strategy). It is focused on efficient project management and being a key supplier liaison, but also has some client interaction in terms of communication on project plans, schedules, and other critical logistics before, during, and after projects!

You will be part of the wider Global Qualitative Team and will have exposure to powerful methodologies on a wide range of research challenges. No two projects are ever the same around here, so the role comes with new problems to solve every single day.

You would be working alongside our NYC-area based Qualitative Project Manager and be working with our growing team of qualitative researchers and strategists to deliver qualitative consumer and sensory research projects at all stages of the innovation cycle for our clients, both in the US and abroad, including our proprietary and ever-evolving methodologies (e.g., our Sensory Qual approaches) and for wider brand consultancy projects for Huxly (a brand consultancy business that sits within the MMR family of companies).
