About MFO Ventures
MFO Ventures is a single-family office founded in 2022 by Dr. Eric Moskow, Elliot Moskow, and Jeremy Moskow.The investment strategy of the family office is engineered to capitalize on the experience and knowledge gained from the family’s prior successful ventures. MFO Ventures seeks to make majority and minority investments in early-stage or high-growth healthcare services and technology businesses that address the challenges of the U.S. healthcare system.
Reporting directly into the Managing Director and Director, the Associate will be an integral part of the team, assisting in shaping the portfolio alongside senior leadership. While the role will have broad exposure across all portfolio companies, primary responsibilities include, fund administration, detailed operational analysis, and performing due diligence work, including thematic market research, financial modeling, and company-specific analyses.
This is a unique opportunity to join a proven and entrepreneural team at the ground floor and be part of the inner workings of a private family office.
Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Analyze financial data to prepare financial analyses and models across portfolio companies
- Work collaboratively with finance, operations, and product leaders of portfolio companies to prepare and analyze associated materials
- Support investment execution, including due diligence, transaction documents, fund administration, etc.
- Analyzing and tracking existing portfolio performance, including materials for board meetings, investor letters, and maintenance of the investor portal
- Work cooperatively with team members toward a shared goal
- Drive projects and serve as representative team member for a variety of ad-hoc strategic projects and initiatives
- Work collaboratively across the entire organization to compile and manage company growth strategy, which includes analyzing and providing recommendations to executive leadership
- Evaluate big data sets and synthesize, present, and articulate clear outputs for key decision-makers
- Conduct in-depth market/industry research
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Engage in the evolution of the family office's strategy and its execution; deal sourcing, evaluation, diligence, and structuring
Please note that this is a remote opportunity with light travel.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience, primarily in investment banking, consulting, or investment management
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (strong modeling experience essential)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related major
