Job Description
Background & Purpose of the Job

Unilever International (UI) is an alternative but complimentary route to market, servicing white space opportunities not exploited by local operating countries. It is a global business unit with 9 hubs (Singapore, US, UK, Korea, India, Dubai, France, the Philippines and Australia) with a diverse range of products, with expertise in utilizing 3rd party distributors and consolidators to reach consumers in over 75 countries.

The main purpose of this job is to lead the Demand and Supply Planning space for the Americas group. All the business opportunities UI manages are related to imports and exports, so a good understanding of the end to end supply chain is necessary, including working knowledge of global logistics and regulations. Regarding Demand Planning, this role is responsible for the delivery of a continuous improved forecast to the sourcing units, while managing the volatility brought by high and accelerated growth and long leadtimes. The Supply Planning portion of the job is responsible for leading the monthly DSR (demand and supply reconciliation) process for the North American sourcing units. This role runs the demand analytics of variances and shares with the different NA Planning Category Teams across all BPC, Foods and Refreshments categories; as well as understands the supply constraints across the NA network.
