Summary of Job Duties:
The Associate Men’s Golf Coach will assist Head Men’s Golf Coach in the overall operation of a Division I men’s golf program, to include managing practice, competition preparation, overseeing administrative processes, and taking the lead of planning and coordinating recruitment efforts of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes.
They will also be responsible for ensuring the academic success of student-athletes, engagement in public relations activities within the community and performance in other related duties as required.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Experience developing, evaluating, and implementing golf swings/techniques
  • Experience developing on-campus recruiting plans & itineraries for official and unofficial visits
  • At least three years college coaching experience
  • At least three years of experience recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, to include prioritizing recruiting needs of the golf program
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least four or more years college coaching experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse population
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
