The Opportunity:
The Associate Manager Digital Merchandising is responsible for creating a consumer-first site experience to drive sales and engagement. You will collaborate with stakeholders and teams to define a compelling product offer and selling strategy. You will lead the digital experience and partner with cross functional teams to facilitate its execution.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Reporting on a per product, campaign, and monthly basis, translating data into actionable insights
- Coordinate with cross functional team leads to kick-off and track projects throughout development to launch
- Coordinate with marketing teams to maintain a rich and seamless experience for customer retention and new user acquisition
- Build and optimize a web experience on our collector site Mattel Creations driving towards customer conversion and repurchase
- Champion new process developments and existing process improvements to achieve efficiencies
- Leverage analytics to drive improvements for the site experience, brand portfolio, and product catalogue
- Partner with brand teams across the Mattel family of IPs to develop on site strategies in support of their brand catalogue and brand initiatives
- Develop calendar with merchandising and other teams for all site activities inclusive of product sales and content activations
- Partner with creative teams to develop assets and copy in accordance with brand guidelines and e-commerce best practices
- Partner with operational teams to facilitate backend execution inclusive of SKU set up and content updates

- Experience leading projects with an ability to make quick decisions and effectively communicate updates/next steps
- Excellent calendar management skills
- Healthy balance of being a team player and being able to take initiative
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze data and turn analytics into actionable insights
- Knowledge of digital/e-commerce practices in SEO, SEM, CRO, etc.
- Experience developing creative briefs and/or providing clear direction
- Experience working with multiple brands or working in a client-facing role
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
- Experience in merchandise planning or experience working with merchandise planning teams
- Affinity for toys and collectibles or brands within the collector space is highly desired. What’s your fandom?
- Minimum 5 years of experience or equivalent accomplishments in consumer products brand focused business; toys and collectibles preferred
- Experience in digital merchandising and/or marketing with full understanding of consumer journey through purchase funnel to customer retention
- Experience in merchandise planning or experience working with merchandise planning teams
- Experience leading projects with an ability to make quick decisions and effectively communicate updates/next steps
- Experience working with multiple brands or working in a client-facing role

The annual base salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $125,000
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
