Associate Kids Director - Cpc

Summary of Position

This position supports the Kids Pastor and the kids ministry at the Capital Hills Campus as they partner with families to raise a generation for Christ.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrates spiritual maturity
• Ability to lead and disciple kids, volunteers, and families
• A member of The Summit Church or willing & able to become a member
• High administrative skills
• A team player willing to do what is best for the Gospel and the Summit Kids ministry
• Ability to recruit, maintain, and coordinate large numbers of volunteers
• Supervising/management experience

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen the partnership between Summit Kids and families for Summit Kids
• Teach within a rotation a lesson in Summit Kids, modeling culture and excellence.
• Maintain systems for the Parent Commissioning process
• Attend campus and central family ministry/kids staff meetings
• Ensure volunteers, kids, and families are accurately assigned within the ROCK platform.
• Responsible for curriculum and materials needs for services in rooms
• Lead Kids monthly trainings
• Step in to handle difficult conversations with parents/caregivers
• Develop Team Leaders personally and spiritually
• Facilitate Summit Kids recruiting and on-boarding process
• Deal with difficult discipline cases in classrooms
• Actively participate in all Summit Kids related campus events and contribute significantly to whatever event requires
• Maintain systems for the Gospel and Baptism process
• Ensure volunteer teams are full and all ministries are covered
