Purpose
The Marketing Operations Specialist will provide operations support to assigned Chiesi Business Unit’s Marketing team. The services will include National and Regional Congresses, Literature Management, and ad-hoc projects.
Main Responsibilities
Congress & Sponsorship Management
Partner with Marketing, Sales and Vendors to execute both in-person and virtual National and Regional Congresses for assigned Business Unit. Serve as primary point of contact for Sponsorships.
Responsible for the completion of planning, execution, communications, trainings and follow up for each National and Regional Congress assigned.
Lead all Business Unit planning meetings, prepare and present pre-con and post-con materials with stakeholders.
Manage all Congress and Sponsorship requests with appropriate documentation and ensure timely processing of requests and processing of funds.
Travel and Attend select National Congresses to oversee proper execution of booth initiatives and associated Marketing programs.
Participate in working group for creation of new event planning app for internal use.
Literature Fulfillment
Act as the primary point of contact between Marketing, Sales, and vendor for promotional literature fulfillment.
Manage inventory levels, dissemination, expirations and forecasting for all printed promotional items.
Provide reports to Marketing and Sales team including inventory and order history.
Assist marketing with ordering reprints.
Project Coordination:
Assist with ad-hoc Marketing Operations projects as assigned.
Assist with National Sales Meeting planning and execution as needed.
Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years in a supportive role in marketing, marketing operations, event management or sales preferably in pharmaceutical, medical device or related industry.
Independent team player with a strong background in project management as well as customer service.
Task oriented with excellent sense of priority, analytical and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail. Must be able to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to interface with all business groups at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Education
B.A./B.S.in business management or marketing or related field from a four-year accredited university
