POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Solar Assistant Superintendent – Compliance will support the Mechanical EPC function and will be responsible for coordinating and assessing safety in the racking installation of solar panels. They will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the company Safety, Health, and Environmental Program for our Utility Scale Solar Projects. This person will perform safety, health, and environmental reviews at the project(s) to ensure implementation and compliance of company and government/regulated standards. This person will be a resource to the project(s) in preventing occupational injury/illness related losses by establishing appropriate loss control/reduction activities. Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Partners with project management and project trade contractors to ensure the implementation of the company’s comprehensive Safety, Health and Environmental Program. This includes providing guidance and leadership to the Project Team
• Conducts investigations on accidents/incidents and near misses to include corrective actions and post-incident meetings
• Provides guidance on regulatory and legislative matters (OSHA, ANSI, etc.) to the project(s) and assist with compliance inspections and activities when required
• Conducts daily site safety meetings and orientations as required
• Conducts investigations into employee inquiries, suggestions, and complaints
• Maintains required safety and health documents, files, etc.
• Performs safety, health, and environmental reviews of the project(s) to include producing reports, reporting findings to management, and following up to ensure items are corrected
• Tracking inventory for material on site and receiving
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Tracking production daily
• Conducts safety trainings, including site specific orientations to workers when required

Education And Work Experience

• Verbal and written English communication skills are required, Spanish is a plus
• Ability to use a computer proficiently (Word/Excel/Bluebeam/PlanGrid/Outlook)
• STSC or OSHA 30 certified is preferred but not required (Will be required once employed)
• Travel required - 75% of time or more with or without advanced planning
• Initiative and problem-solving skills are a necessity
