Our Assistant Retail Studio Manager will play a key role in the growth of our business and brand, supporting our Tysons Corner location as well as mobile scanner installations.

We’re seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Retail Studio Manager who's ambitious, excited to take the lead, and loves working with our photogrammetry and 3D technology. They will be smart, imaginative, passionate storytellers capable of developing a compelling experience for customers, their own team, and the studio that showcases Dopl’s brand vision.

The Assistant Retail Studio Manager will have a photography background, able to work with our 3D scanner comprised of 87 DSLR cameras and to make customers comfortable taking their scans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with our 3D scanning technology and ensure its functioning optimally
• Ensure studio aesthetics meet a high level
• Participate in the installation and operations of mobile experience
• Create tools for the retail scanning team for our processes and story-telling
• Provide team feedback including hiring, training and managing
• Manage touch points with new and existing customers
• Assist with the management of our new studio

REQUIREMENTS

• Familiarity with photography and DSLR cameras and / or strong technical skills
• Capacity to learn about and sell products/services requiring specialist knowledge.
• Fluency in foreign languages is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• 2+ years of experience in studio or retail management
• Self-motivated and proactive. Positive attitude and a genuine team player
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excited about new and emerging technology
• Ability to communicate with warmth, energy and sincerity
• Previous experience within retail, with products requiring specialist knowledge
