Position: Assistant Store Manager
Team: Retail
Reports to: Store Manager
General Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager with daily operations of the retail space of the dispensary. They perform the same duties as that of the Leads, but are the acting Store Manager when the Store Manager is unavailable. The Assistant Store Manager provides additional support to the Store Manager for motivating and supervising a team of an average of 40+ employees. The Assistant Store Manager must have good communication and interpersonal skills, must provide high levels of customer service expectations, and possess strong conflict resolution skills.

- Responsible for opening and closing of the dispensary (Key Holder) as scheduled.
- Adheres to all cannabis laws and compliance.
- Participates in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

- Frequently interact with customers, fulfill customer requests, and address customer issues, questions, or suggestions.
- Support in scheduling and administering performance reviews.
- Assist Store Manager in generating financial and performance reports.
- Support Store Manager in tracking and providing corrective action.
- Assume the role of acting Store Manager when Store Manager is unavailable.
- Any additional duties as assigned by management.
- Work alongside the Store Manager in creating schedules.
- Support Store Manager In Human Resources functions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full availability (including holidays) and ability to be flexible with schedule to the needs of the business.
- Cash Handling Skills.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills, and the ability to be flexible and adapt in any situation.
- Basic computer skills are required in order to operate POS (cash registers) systems. Comfortable with workplace technology like registers, scheduling software, inventory management software.
