Summary:
AECOM Hunt is seeking a highly talented Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our Hunt Construction group. This position will be supporting our construction projects in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
Job Summary:
Responsible for client/project development, resource management, and supports project management team with supervision of construction activities as they relate to contract administration and management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
Responsible for overall project performance including job profit and loss for Construction projects. Job duties include but aren't limited to: coordination and integration of multidiscipline project functions including but not limited to construction, project controls, quality and commercial administration in a manner to meet project operational and business objectives. Responsible to establish a culture of safe work performance. Actively engaged in developing and managing client relations.
Plans, schedules, and coordinates projects to repair, alter and renovate building structure and installed equipment, and supervise a multi-disciplined construction workforce performing work on multiple projects simultaneously.

May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies.

- May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
- Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
- Assists with and monitors change orders
- Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed
- May perform project estimating and take-off.
- Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.
- May interface with design team.
- May interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.
- May assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting
