Job Summary:
The APM reports to and supports the PM in all day-to-day contract operations. Directing, coordinating, and allocating resources to ensure that all post staffing levels are met with qualified personnel for every shift. They also ensure that officers follow all work rules, maintain, and display good discipline, and present a professional appearance by conducting random, unannounced personnel and post inspections. They monitor and evaluate execution of the internal aspects of the Quality Control Plan. In the PMs absence, the APM acts in his place and has full authority to execute all contract requirements for AGS to meet contract requirements. In addition, the APM is primarily responsible for all State and Federally required training. To ensure that all officers remain compliant with all certifications and licensing. This position uses sound judgment to prioritize and complete assignments, some of which consist of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The APM shall be knowledgeable in business and management principles, involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources. Monitors and assesses the performance of self, others, and organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Has the ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs to ensure contract compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and evaluate all aspects of the execution of the internal Quality Control Plan by the Supervisors.
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
  • Ensure officers follow all work rules, maintain, and display good discipline, and present a professional appearance.
  • Measure contract performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Order, track, and maintain supplies.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs.
  • Participates in company/department quality audits.
  • Ensure scheduling is sufficient to meet contract requirements.
  • Perform risk management to minimize risks.
  • Track and schedule annual physicals, drug screening, security registrations, and certifications per contract requirements.
  • Submit and request background checks.
  • Organize and maintain file system and file correspondence and other records.
  • Liaison with Human Resources regarding review of employment contingencies.
  • Support the PM in all day-to-day contract activities.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Order and issue uniforms; reconcile invoices with packing slips.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Monitor overtime to ensure it is within scope and within budget.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in security, law enforcement, or management related fields, and/or equivalent training and experience.
  • 3 years providing training to adult learners in a classroom and OJT setting. Must have certifications from state, federal, and/or commercial organizations, including instructor development (FBI), firearms instructor through the NRA or trainer certifications from state and local police departments.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation to include criminal, credit and driving record checks. Screened pre-employment including psychological testing, honesty and integrity validation and random drug screening – all to be continuously monitored.
  • Able to obtain NH Guard license instructor certification.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills to support fast-paced work environment.
  • Must have written English skills, including ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
  • Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968, Suitability applies.
  • Have no felony convictions and no convictions that reflect on the individual's reliability including those crimes classified under the Lautenberg Act.
  • Must fully comprehend the principles of installation security and resource protection.
  • Three (3) years’ of progressively responsible general experience gained in analytical decision making and administrative work and activities at the executive management level.
  • Prior experience as a Manager or Supervisor similar in size and scope of this contract is preferred.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
  • Air Force Principles of Instruction cert desired
